Life in the dark ages of Europe revolved around the feudal system. The king owned the manor and gave the land to other lords and knights called vassals in return for protection. The Queen is the female ruler and the kings wife. The princess is the wealthy female member of the royal family who didn’t rule. The prince is the wealthy male member of the royal family. He didn’t rule either. The queen’s mother is the mother of the queen. She lives in her daughter’s manor if she becomes widowed. The regent is a substitute for the king if he has any prior engagements.
The Pope is the bishop of Rome. A Bishop is the chief of the church. They often lived in manors with the lord and oversees the priests needs. The Priest is the head of the church. Monks were the poor (by choice) members of the church.
A Merchant was a business man or a trade man. A Peddler is the merchant that traveled from town to town to sell things. Serfs are peasants bound to the manor because of poverty. Thespians are actors and entertainers that entertain the nobles. Mages are magicians. Villains are the richest peasants, kind of free, they were allowed to do things other peasants couldn’t do. The cook were the people who made the food. Maids are house woman who are usually virgins.

This is a bishop. They wore fancy clothes and jewelry.
This is a medieval workman. He is probably poor because of the colors he is wearing. The darker the clothes, the more poor they were.
